1)According to the Tripadvisor site, the aspects of the tour that people appreciated the most are: entertainment, Irish literary knowledge and happiness of tourists.

2)Yes, it is possible because, Naples is city of carefree and spontaneity, even though some difficulties.

3)Following the "Dublin Literary Pub Crawl" exaple, I would organize something of similar in pizza restaurants of city. Especially those located in points of cultural and historical interest, related by the musicians (as Massimo Ranieri) and actors(as Luigi de Filippo)with their folk performance.

The aspects of a tour that people appreciate the most are the following: they have great moments watching some skits played by actors in several pubs in Dublin; they can visit the city between a pub and the other, during the walk tour; it's possible to collect some informations about Dublin and Irish history and literature; moreover people have the possibility to taste great varieties of good beer.

Yes, it's possible to do something similiar in Naples because Naples too can offer very much to the tourists. From the food or wine to history and philosophy and art and literature, from sun and sea to seaside and landscapes.
I’d organize a tour between the pearls of Naples and each masterpiece of art or architecture or literature or a famous landmark (like Benedetto Croces’ house) connected with a local tipe of wine or food or music. I’d include the writtens of Benedetto Croce, Gianbattista Vico, Matilde Serao, Federico de Roberto; the skits of Edoardo De Filippo, Totò, Luciano de Crescenzo; the music of Massimo Ranieri, Edoardo Bennato, Pino Daniele; the architecture of Fanzago and Sanfelice.

1)According to the tripadvisor site, the aspects that the people appriced are:the irish culture, the entertainment, meet new people and drink beer.
2)Tecnically yes,but the problem is that in Neaples the culture is not exploited enough for turism.
3)I would organise something like "pub crawl" in the historical centre of Neaples where there are winebars and pizzerias in which the people can listen the music (of Enzo Avitabile and Domenico Modugno) and the shows of Totò or Massimo Troisi.

1)People appreciated the way this tour has been able to give such a funny approach to the Irish culture and literature. Then, tourists loved beer and walks through the historical center of the city and his pubs.
2)Our city, more than Dublin, is steeped in culture. A "Naples Literary pub crawl" could surely be arranged, but, first of all, we should find a way to attract tourists to spend their holidays in Naples, because lately they are very few!
3)My "Naples Literary pub crawl" could provide a walk through the historical center, with stops in its landmarks, such as Piazza del GesĂš, Santa Chiara, Palazzo Benedetto Croce, Piazzetta Nilo, San Gregorio Armeno..In each place, I might reserve for tourists a space in a bar or in a restaurant where actors or singers could entertaine them with performances linked with the place where they are. For instance, near Santa Chiara, a singer could sing an ancient neapolitan song that mentions this church, near Palazzo Benedetto Croce, an actor might read an excerpt from an essay about the history of Naples wrote by Benedetto Croce..

1) I think that the tourists love discover the Irish culture drinking and having fun with friends.

2) In Naples this experience has been made. In fact some cultural associations make traveling shows. The actors, with funny lines, tell stories and legends of Naples. My city is playful!

3) I'd like to organize a tour for pizzerias of the historical centre and taste typical products of the city. During the tour two actors could recite passages from works of De Filippo, Scarpetta, Viviani or Bovio while a musician plays the most beautiful Neapolitan songs. At the end of the tour I would like to give a typical Neapolitan souvenirs: the "corniciello".

Thanks for your attention, see you soon. Roberta Verde n.112000415

1) According to the website Tripadvisor, people appreciate aspects of the tour as the sympathies of the two companions, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, knowledge of Irish culture, visiting several pubs and drinking good beer.
2) In Naples you can create even better tour, our regional culture has deep roots from literature to music, from kitchen to landscape, etc.
3) I could organize a sweet cakes tour, a route between the big, small and tiny workshops typical Neapolitan pastries. The characters that I could fall within the tour are: Alessandro Scarlatti e Vincenzo Bellini as musicians, Giambattista Vico philosopher, historian and jurist, Errico Caruso and Giacomo Rondinella as singers.

1) The aspects of the Dublin literary pub craw that the tourists appreciated are the perfect marriage of Irish artistic culture and the drinking glasses of beer, and the folkloric entertainment of the actors.

Yes, it is possible because Naples is the birthplace of many famous artists, and in the city there are many beautiful place for a walking tour.

Following the Irish example, I would organize a walking tour in the streets of historical centre of Naples, through pub and pizzerie located in points of historical and cultural interest (for example via Benedetto Croce, via Tribunali). Here tourists can enjoy tastings of Neapolitan cuisine.
In the tour I would include many famous actors (Totò, Luciano De Crescenzo and Eduardo De Filippo), ancient composers (Domenico Cimarosa), and the works by important artists (Caravaggio, Colantonio).

1)The aspects of the tour that people appreciated are: the beautiful irish culture, the atmosphere of every pub, the fantastic literature and the best beer of the country.

2)Naples is a beautiful cultural city, we have a lot of famous artists, poets, writers: Luigi Denza, Raffaele Viviani, Eduardo de Filippo are only three of the big characters of the great neapolitan culture. Also we a have a great culinary heritage, that comprises cake as "pastiera" and "sfogliatella", but also the food that made Naples famous: the pizza. Naples is a fantastic cultural point, for this reason is possible to do something similar in this city.

3)We can start from the famous "Caffè Grambrinus" one of the most important cafè of Naples, where are passed a lot of big artists and writers. After we can eat a fantastic "sfogliatella" from "Piantauro", the bakery that invented this cream puff. After we can go in the historical pizzeria "Brandi" where was created the Pizza Margherita. And I spoke only about the food. But there are a lot of museums, theatres, landascapes that i can insert in my tour.

1) The most appreciated aspects of the tour are: a mix of amusement (quiz) and history (a first approach to the Irish Writers) and also a way to taste the several qualities of Irish beer.
2)I really think that it would be nice to organize something like that in Naples. That's because there are places and famous people to know.
3)I would choose the right places such as Gambrinus and Brandi Pizzeria or even some places in the open air with their amazing view. People could be entertained with sketches by Totò, Edoardo De Filippo or folklore Neapolitan dancing and songs and music. Anyway I think that the artistic and literary Italian world is so full of interesting people that it could be easier for Italians to plan something like that.

the siren Parthenope
There are a lot of storyes about the origin of Naples and all of them involve the Sirene Parthenope. Phartenope was a sirene who fell in love with Ulyses. She sang to him,but he didn't stop so she killed herself. Her body arrived on the island of Megaride, which is the first settlement of Naples.Megaride is the smaller island of Naples. This island is front of Pizzofalcone promontory.During the Norman period, the Castel dell'Ovo fort was built on the island Bye!Bye Serena.B.012001779 April2,2013

1) According to Tripadvisor, people appreciate the Literary Pub Crawl in Dublin, because it is an opportunity to have a fun introduction to Irish culture. To learn Irish literature is easy thanks to the fun performances of the actors who embody the most important Irish writers. People may participate in the quiz without any knowledge of the literature. They can taste delicious Irish beers, to discover the history of the city and the most striking features of Dublin. Tourists can enjoy the great hospitality and friendliness of the Irish people in an interesting mix of entertainment and culture.
2) Naples is the ideal location for a similar tour. It is a very quaint town, full of history, art, music, philosophy, legends, traditions and typical products. To appreciate this city you need to combine these features.
3)I would like to begin my tour from the island of Megaride where Greek colonists from Cumae founded the original nucleus of the city in the 6th century BC. The castle's name comes from an old legend in which the Roman poet Virgil would have hidden an egg under the building to protect it. Tourists could meet Virgil, listen to his stories and drink a glass of Falanghina (the ancient wine of the emperor) with him. The tour could continue in Naples underground where people would have the possibility of meet important characters of Neapolitan legend like the "Monaciello" or the "Bella’mbriana" and watch a performance of Tarantella (a traditional dance). The tourists could meet Caravaggio walking in the historical center and see his works of art recreated in the corners of the streets. During this tour in Spaccanapoli, people might taste typical dishes, talk with Federico II, Masaniello, Totò and Carosone. People could be invited to Benedetto Croce's house to chatting about Leopardi and drink a glass of Lacrima Christi (a wine from the slopes of Vesuvius, the area where Leopardi wrote "La Ginestra").

1)After reading lots of reviews we can say that for many people, the pub crawl experience has been fantastic for different reasons: now they Know part of Irish literary history ,in the pubs they have met new friends, they have tasted the traditional Irish beer.
2)Well, i think that it's possible to do something similiar in Naples but it would be difficult to have a real "pub crawl" there, because in Naples there aren't lots of pubs , indeed the city has got a long coffee tradition so ,you could do a "Bar Crawl" here.
3)Like many neapolitans i think that my city is the most beautiful in the world so it's full of nice places to visit.I would start my city tour from the pizzeria Michele ,eating the best pizza of Naples then i woulg go to Gambrinus' to have an excellent coffee finally in the evening i would go to the famous "Teatro San Carlo" in order to watch an Edoardo de Filippo 's play.

1- The people liked the beautiful aspect of the irish culture, for exemple the litterature, the fantastic music, the history, the atmosphore and the best beer of the cuntry. Finally people loved, the beautiful experiences to do together!!
2-It's possible to do something similar in Naples, because Naples is wonderful city.We have a rich culture:there are a lot of monuments from various period(Maschio Angioino,Castel dell'Ovo,Palazzo Reale,Il Museo di Capodimonte,Napoli sotterranea,ecc.ecc.)but we have great cultere of cuisine, music and theater too. Moreover we have a big "Villa Comunale"(Mergellina) where it's possible to organize important exhibitions of paintings or scultures. Finally we have a fantastic sea. In fact last year Naples hosted the "AMERICAN CUP'S".
3-We can start from the " Museo di Capodimonte" where we can see a lot of paintings by Caravaggio and Botticelli. Moreover there is the "Salottino di porcellana of Maria Amalia di Sassonia." After we can go to National Museum, where we can see the " Collezione Farnese" the preistoric area and a lot of paintings. Finally we can visit "Castel dell'Ovo" because his windows were decorated by Giotto, and also we can see the exhibition of contemporary paintings.

1.the aspects of the tour that the people appreciated are: the irish litterature, that is more interesting, the fantastic music, the pleasant company and finally the good irish beer
2. It is possible to do this in Naples. In fact Naples offers a vast culture of art, litterature, music, theater and cuisine. We can show to the tourists fantastic museums( Museo di Capodimonte, Museo nationale), archeological sites(Catacombe di San Gennaro, Napoli sotteranea)and various castles(Castell dell'Ovo, Maschio Angiono). Moreover we have many beautiful landscapes, a great sea and the symbol of Naples, our loved Vesuvio.
3. In my tour, i would show a characteristic place of Naples, "San Gregorio Armeno". In the streets of this neighborhood there are a lot of craft shops that sells the "presepe napoletano"( the italian for the "nativity scene")where there are a lot of character, for example there are the shepherds, the laundress, the fishmonger, the greengrocer, the baker, the shoe repairer, the butcher, the "zampognari" and the figure of Beniamino, a tipical character who sleep near the cave where Jesus was born. After we can go to "San Sebastiano" that is a famous neighborhood thet is called "quartiere della musica" because every shop sells musical instruments and you may feel traditional music by street artists.

What surely tourists love most about this tour, is a brief introduction to Irish culture, the opportunity to visit the places where some of his writers lived and know their habits and pubs that used to attend. The magical atmosphere, the history, the humor and Irish hospitality!
I do not think in Naples you can find the same atmosphere.
In our city, the main attraction is given by the monuments and history rather than by literary writers. No tourists visit San Gregorio Armeno because some celebrity used to go there, No tourist will visit the Spanish quarters because they have given birth to a famous writer ... Dublin is instead Joyce, Wilde, Beckett ... and all the places reported to them and to their writings.
I don't think you could create a similar tour in Naples, but after all, the world is beautiful because it is various, each city has its own charm and its attractions and it is right that there are no equal between a tour and another.

1)According to TripAdvisor, turists and people like many elements of dublin literary pub crawl. First, the good beer they drink, then the possibility to know new friend enjoyng the nice atmosphere. Last but not least also to hear Ireland's music and traditions.

2) A thing like this Irish tour is surely possible in a city like Naples, because the spirit of the city helps someone to enjoy and entertain.

3) We could do a tour that begin from "trattoria nennella", a old restaurant in Spanish Quarter, to eat well in a confortable place. After we can cross Via toledo and arrive in Piazza del plebiscito, while Napolitan actors and singers can tell Naples with songs and famous theatrical stories to the tourists. So we can drink a good coffee at Gambrinus and after go to Santa lucia and the seafront of via Caracciolo to enjoy the landscape.

2) Yes, it is possibile!
In Naples and not only in the city, also in the provinces there is a vast and beautiful culture. In Naples there are many important monuments like the "Museo Nazionale", "Teatro San Carlo", "Galleria Umberto", "Palazzo Reale", "Napoli Sotterranea", the heart of old Naples (San Gregorio Armeno, San Domenico Maggiore) and the archaelogical sites. In the province instead, there is Cuma, the archaelogical site near the territories of Bacoli and Pozzuoli, the present "Antro della Sibilla" which is even now, an attraction of remarkable interest. The myth of the "Sibilla Cumana" tied to Cuma was already known in the "Eneide". In fact Enea went there to interrogate the "Oracle of Cuma" if he would have find the land intended for his people.
There are also many important writers who have made the history of literature and theatre.

3) I would organize something like "Pub Crowl" in a pub or in open areas, like the amphitheatres such as that of Pozzuoli, the "Anfiteatro Flavio" and the several archaelogical sites.
I could include in this tour many famous actors like Luciano De Crescenzo, Eduardo De Filippo, Sophia Loren and Toto and the musicians who have characterized the ancient neapolitan music.

Strangers in Dublin appreciate the Dublin Literary Pub Crawl expacially for the Irish literature and beer.
I think it will be possible to do something similar in Naples, because there are a lot of interesting places and important artists.
I would like to do something similar in Naples: we could visit the Caravaggio's paintings with an actor that plays Caravaggio explaining himself and his paintings.

1)According to the tripadvisor site, the aspects of the tour that the people appreciated are the entertainment, the Irish culture and beer, to meet new people and to eat in the several pubs.

2)Yes, It is possible because Neaples is an interesting and beautiful city. It can offer much to the tourists: from the food to the music and from to the historical and cultural heritage to the archeological heritage.

3)We can start from Piazza Del GesÚ and we can take a coffe together; then we can visit Saint Chiara's Church. After we can continue for San Biagio Dei Librai Street where we can see the characteristics of ancient Neaples. To Saint Gregorio Armeno we can admire the nativity scenes, an important symbol of the city. At the lunch we can eat a good pizza and at the afternoon we can go to the bar to narrate the history of the most famous Neapolitan writers and actors like Salvatore Di Giacomo, Totò and Sophia Loren. Finally, we can go to Mergellina and we can listen the most famous songs of Neaples by a man who plays the mandolin.
